Full-Time Game Runner

The Go Game (www.thegogame.com) creates innovative, technology-fueled team building games and creative adventures for clients across the globe. We’re a small business located in the Mission District of San Francisco with a very informal and extremely fast-paced work environment. Currently, we’re looking for an amazing Game Producer to join our team.

This position will see you flying all over the country (with suitcases full of cell phones, cameras and silly costumes), on a mission of utmost importance: bringing play to companies of all shapes and sizes. You will produce and execute wildly entertaining, high-tech games for groups of all shapes & sizes… and sometimes they’ll carry you out on their shoulders because the game is just that fun and you're (we hope) that awesome.

The position of Game Producer is entirely responsible for executing outstanding Go Game events. Game Producers are accountable for all phases of planning and executing memorable games, including creating original content, managing clients and running events onsite. You will be part Julie McCoy, part McGyver and part Stephen Colbert. In other words, organized, resourceful and funny. In addition to event production, Game Producers will be expected to contribute to the daily operations of our small business.

• Excellent at producing events, performing in front of large crowds, and writing dynamic content.
• Self-directed & a quick learner. 
• Able to problem-solve under pressure, maintain grace under fire.
• Highly organized and professional.
• Tech-savvy, proficient with computers and social media.
• Comfortable using and troubleshooting A/V equipment.
• Someone who excels at commanding the attention, adoration, and imagination of large groups of people
• A lone ranger AND a team player.
• Dynamic and curious.
• Someone who loves to work hard & play hard at the same time. 
• Open to the unique challenges that come with this type of job, and also committed to tackling these challenges with energy, creativity, & positivity. 
• Someone who can run 80-100 games a year and still think “I can’t believe this is my job. Pinch me, I’m dreaming.”
• Excited by the thought of spending 70-80 days a year in airports (yes, you travel A LOT).
• Someone who leads by example, who seeks feedback & collaboration, who strives to support otherst. 
• Equal parts charismatic MC, adept learner, client whisperer, travel enthusiast, design geek, excellent project / team manager, and a joy to be around.

Requirements:

• Full-time availability, including weekends
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds 
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation:

• Starting salary of $60K with performance bonuses
