During Recess, teams of 10 players compete in up to 10 challenge stations. Each station offers different physical or mental challenge. All teams square off, head-to-head, over the course of one to two hours. Think indoor Field Day with a zany twist. We've got a host of amazing games—some we've invented, and some are simply the best camp games from our youth. Build towers out of spaghetti, complete yoga ball relays or run around in a giant inflatible zorb ball!
Typical venues for an indoor Recess Game are a large conference room, cafeteria or Madison Square Garden.*
*in our dreams
Our Recess Games are designed for large groups of 100+ players
We deploy our fleet of professional actors as excitable 'referees' to facilitate each station. Armed with stopwatches, whistles and official scorecards, the 'refs' keep time, tally, announce winners and cheer on everyone at each station/sport.
After the the last challenge, the refs declare the overall winners to much fanfare. We present a huge trophy, shower the winners with glory and award them bragging rights—redeemable until next year’s Recess!
If you'd like a professional photographer to document the day's activities, we can make that happen.
